Thanksgiving!!!!

Yes, I know, Thanksgiving is over, n Happy Belated Thanksgiving to you all, but this is a different sort of thanksgiving - a literal one, 'Thanks' - 'Giving'. A post in which I wanna thank all my friends for being the special person each one of them is and for being my friends.

In many mails, quotes, on tv . . . sumwhere or the other, each one of us must have heard that it is the small gestures, small words of appreciation, the one small 'Thank You' which makes a difference. But despite hearing it so often, none of us really makes an effort to tell a friend how imp they are, how they bring cheer into our lives, how small things they do make us so happy. So i thought I'd put philosophy into practice.

Hmm . . . Im soundin toooooo serious upar!!!!! I mean, my blog entries are usually excited, light babbles :) Bt Im nt in a very brooding mood or nethin, it jus came out dt way. Newys read on plz . . .

• Rhea(Rheu) - (Ya, I hv mentioned her earlier too, n ppl hu noe me must hv guessed hers is gonna be de firssssssst name :) ) For ALWAYS being there for me, for teaching me how imp it is to fight to become bttr n bttr frenz (boy do we fight a lot!!!! u agree? :P), for our 7 looooooooong yrs of frendship, for being a crazy, soft hearted, impulsive and one of the sweetest frenz ive ever had, for tokin to me on fone 4 hourrrrrrrrrs (wel i tok to her too, so i also get half de credit 4 dt ;) ) n for bein my frend philosopher n guide (no1 noes me bttr dn her - I mean i will call her n say "u noe wat??" n she'll guess wt i wanted to say b4 i even utter anoder word!!!). She calld me her strength recently, bt shez bin mine since class 6th :) I relli consider myself lucky to have her as a frend.
  
• Anahita(naita/angel/angelina . . . ) - For being far far away (saat samundar par!!!) YET always makin me feel ur right here, for being really really supportive(especially for my blog :) ), for missin me coz i hvnt bin goin ol much recently (:D ur de onli 1 hu tol me dt!!!), for bein encouragin n helpful (she'll go as far as she can to help her frenz), for dose craaaaazy convos of ours, for never gettin angry wen i 4get to comment on ur blog (sorru!! :) ) and for being the concerned n carin person u r.
• Eshita(Esha) - For being sooo bhola :D, for becoming such a good frend in so short a time (I've only known her a few months), for being such a calm, thorough thinker hu cn give gud advice, for keeping me awake in fiitjee chem class (hehe). She is agen one of de sweetest ppl i noe - even wen she's angry (or tryin to b) she'll laugh in de middle, n ruin all her effort. One of de cool, easy goin ppl whom i feel lucky to hv found as a frend, :)
• Udit(Udieeeee!!!) - For being one f de most hazir jawaab, easy going, no tension, totally chilled out people i noe!!!, for clearing my doubts in fiitjee packages (De guy's intelligent!!! Ud, parabola waale questions ho gaye?? ;) :P ), for NEVER EVER gettin irritated no matter wat u say to him (gooood temperament - I mean he never gets bugged!), for being excellent at sorting out fights n gud at lecturing too (wen it cums to it), for being really sweet n helpful overall anddddddddd for maroing really good comments about our chem teacher in fiitjee :D
• Ashwin(Ashuuuuuuu) - (u hate dt nic don u???? :P) For de long looooooong arguments we hv (and for always losing in de end!!! :P :D), For never being able to say sorry bt still managing to mean it, for gud advice now n den (nt 4 d lectures, do ur gud at it!!!), (i shud also put in for neva callin, msgin, mailin or cumin ol khud, bt y ruin de gud mud wid - de truth!!! ;) ), for being really sweet( beneath all de ego :) ), for recommending gud comp games (n oder stuff - he's a comp whiz :D ), anddddd for de long long chats wid a lot f fitin n idhar udhar ki baate bt wich mostly leave me in a gud mood :)
  
• Vidushi - For being one of my best friends, for being such a calm and supportive person, for allllll the fun you me and shreeja have had together, for all our witty criticism of one another ;), for making most of the effort for keeping in touch now and for all the time we've spent together :)
• Shreeja - For being the sweetest person I know :), for being so simple and yet so nice, for always coming to meet me instead of scolding me for not doing so, for always taking my side against vidushi ;) :D and for being one of my best friends.
  
• Anushka(hvnt thot a nic 4 her yet) - For sitting with me the first day we got shuffled when i ws feeling totally lost in the new class, for always waiting for me n accompanying me throughout de school :), for all your expert comments on various things (especially on de maths teacher - u r damn gud!! :D), for all our little jokes we laugh over in class, for all the fun we had on de picnic n children's day and for becoming such a good friend in so short a time.
• Pankhuri - For being really sweet n helping (anoder addition to my list of extremely sweet people), for all your phone calls when Im in fiitjee ;), for all those times when we go crazy laughing over nothing, for always lending me your library card :), for always coming with me to the canteen :D and for just being there.
• Aditi(ditee!!) - For being ma frend all de way since class 6, in advance for cumin wid me to France in d school trip (u are going na???), for d long talks we sumtims hv on fone, for being so helpful n nice, for always sayin hi wen we see each oder in school (i hate ppl hu look thru ppl dey noe!) and for all our chats on msn (u rarely cum ol dese days, cum oftener :) )
  
• Abhinav (Abhi) - For all the jokes on ur blog, for never getting angry when i get late in commenting on ur blog (sorru!! :) ), for always starting de convo wheneva u cum ol (do mosta de time im nt here!!!) and for all ur gud comments :)
• Viviktha(viviks) - For being one of de whackiset ppl i noe(:D), for always being in a gud mood, for coming over to my class whenever you are free :), for all our sarcastic arguments, for lending me ur lab coat (Im plannin 2 4get it dis week too!! ;) ), for always waiting for me after NTSE n dat day wen i missed my bus andddddddd for being an umpredictable, impulsive yet very nice person overall.
• Radhika(Rads) - For all your help in French class last year :), for mostly replying on chat even when u r 'away', for being d 1st 4 commentin on me blog las tim (sorru i gt late!) andddddd for being a relli nice person and ma frend!

Musiiiiiiiic!!!

Hiiiiiiii again . . . I know - long time no entry, but kya kare - XAMS!!!! But neways, exams are now over and faaaaaaaaaaaar behind :D And the term "No Entry" reminds me of . . . . . The Film, of course! WHAT A LAUGH RIOT I tell you!!!!Its just gr8 - especially the Mauritius scenes - what say ppl??? I had a blast that day - last day of exams - lunch at McDee's, No entry, HCF at Nirulas(yummmmmmy :P) - What a day!!!

Well, coming back to the topic - music. I have, mostly, been into hindi music - film songs, albums, remixes, oldies - all sorts. But Im almost illiterate as far as english music is concerned. Well recently i've bin hearin quite a few english songs - some of them were overrated according to me, but the others were a hit. And, just in case you havent heard these songs and want them, and because I wanted to try out links, the name of each song is a download link for it. :)

Hits:

• The Reason - Hoobastank - I LUVD IT!!!! Its just good - beat, melody,good wordings - it has it all. Such a goood combo - u mussssst hear it.
• No More Lies - Iron Maiden - Hard Rock!!! Not too many ppl are fond of Hard Rock, mera toh first time tha. But i liked it - its loud, but thats whats good about it.
• Speed of Sound - Coldplay - its just a usual song - but its unusually good to listen to. I still havent figured out what i like about it - bt i still like it!
• Dont Be Shy - Rogue - Songs bin in for quite some time now, and i heard it also quite some time ago - bt it still remains on my playlist. Its a remix, with dashes of Kangna (a HIT punjabi song) thrown in. Though Kangna original is nice - the combo's even better. :)
• Incomplete - Backstreet Boys - They have always been gud - -The Backstreet Boys - and this track's definitely no less.
• All Rise and One Love - Blue - Both are timeless classics - loveeeeeeely songs. I have heard them earlier but in bits and pieces here and there. Never sat down and heard these songs with full attention. Well, I found them even better than i thought on doing that!

Hmm, this doesnt conclude the list of good english songs - NOT AT ALL. The fact is, these are the good ones out of those which I have heard, which as i have mentioned earlier are VERY FEW. So all you people, do me a favour - s'il vous plait (french for puhleeeeeeeeez) recommend me some good english songs of your choice. I really wanna hear more english music - but i seriously dont know what to hear sooooooo HELP :D

Vaise, something i forgot to mention - The song - The Ultimate Bestest Best song (according to me) - an all time favortie and superhit - "Every night . . " - Titanic, by Celine Dion. I dont think there is any other song which can match that. The most beautiful melody i ever heard. You wont beleive it - I heard the song once, a few years back, when titanic was released. After that, all these years, I've NEVER heard it, till about a month ago when I downloaded it - bt still I have been singing it literally all the time. Most of the people i know must have heard me sing it AT LEAST ONCE . It just superb.

Hmm, by now, you must have guessed that I am a music lover. Well, all i will say is that - OF COURSE I AM!!!!! There's definitely no doubt in that. Music - is just music. I dont know about you, but at least I cannot imagine my life without it.

Enough blabber for 1 post??? This time I had firmly resolved not to make it a long one . . . bt I failed as I can very well see. Sorru!!!

Heyy . . . I am Happy i tell you - lotsaaaa reasons. I got EIGHTEEEEEEEEEEEEN comments on my first post. Yaay! Hurray! Yahoo! No, I din expect so many and No I did not pester ppl into commentin!!!:)

Aaaaj fiitjee me maths class ti . . . u'll say sabki hoti hai - kaunsi badi baat hai . . . thik hai thik hai lemme finish. Sabki maths class to hoti hai bt hamare jaise teacher nai hota! BOND 007 i tell u!!! Kya banda hai srsly, he's too kewl yaar. Maths to jaise uski shakal pe likha hai - and aadate i tell u!!! His classes r funny, interestin, over awing, kewl and we still manage to study!! :D:D He sez "Clear??? Bolo aaagre(agree in his accent)???Any doubt???" after every two sentences nd instead of askin "pade?" he sez "chale" as if maths is a journey n not a subject. N u try n act smart wid him n mannnnnnn, u r nt gonna be alive 2 mins l8r!!! SRSLY!!!

No. 2 reason y I am happy - mera blog!!!!! :D I have edited anf formatted and reformatted it and all thnx to ud i hv new boxes, headings and a new counter in de sidebar!!! Msg in de status bar neeche is thnx to naita n she also taught me how to make links. But links ke naam all to my credit - n dere's a piece of thinkin behind each one of dem:

I hd dis intersection debate recently n she made us (me n akanksha - de oder participant frm r class) start preparin frm more dan a week b4 de actual thing. Y u ask? so dat we hav time to learn it up COMPLETELY! well, her scheme dint wrk!! Every day - mark me words "EVERYDAY" she changed me script - everyday day she would cross out, scribble, mark, scratch me spotless clean debate sheet and make it a piece of raddi (kabad). Den i wud go home, wrk hard, make sense of her writing and manage to make anoder spotless clean sheet. But as soon as she sets eyes on it de next day - "ATTACK!!" She wanted to changed it de day of de debate also, bt i put-my-foot-down!!! :)
